There were a lot of Florida Lottery winners in April, although the number of winners continues to be lower than February's total of 81.
The biggest winner of the month woke to a find a Florida Lotto ticket purchased April 10 was worth $11 million.

We tracked all the winners in the various drawings —Powerball,Mega Millions, Lotto, Jackpot Triple Play, Cash4Life and Fantasy 5 — held in April to answer your questions.
How many Florida Lottery winners were there in April 2024?
In April, there were 60 winners in the drawings held between April 1 and April 30, slightly more than the 57 winners seen in March, and the 56 winners in January, but still well below the 81 winners in February.
Thirty-five of all the winning tickets sold during the month were quick pick.
In April, there were four days when there were no winners in any of the draw games, with the exception of Cash Pop.
So far, the only month in 2024 with at least one winner every day was February.
Are more winning lottery tickets sold at Publix?
Publix continued to sell more winning Florida Lottery tickets in April than any other retailer.
Here are the top retailers in April with at least two sales:
- Publix: 26 winners
- 7-Eleven: 7 winners
- Circle K: 4 winners
- Presidente Supermarket: 2 winners
- Walmart: 2 winners
Publix also was the top location every month so far: January (16), February (37), and March (25).
What Florida city had the most lottery winners in April ?
Here are the cities in April — with at least two sales — where the most winning lottery tickets were sold:
- Miami, Miami Gardens, North Miami: 4
- Port St. Lucie: 4
- Kissimmee: 2
- Stuart: 2
- Tampa: 2
- West Palm Beach: 2
- Coral Springs: 2
- Daytona Beach: 2
Miami, Miami Gardens, North Miami have been the top locations for winning tickets every month in 2024, but in April, shared the lead with Port St. Lucie.
If you buy a lottery ticket at a Publix in Miami or Port St. Lucie do odds of winning improve?
Three of the four winners in Port St. Lucie bought their Fantasy 5 tickets at a Publix supermarket.
Only one of the four winning tickets sold in Miami was sold at a Publix.
What Florida Lottery game saw the most winners in April?
Not surprisingly, most winners were playing Fantasy 5. There were 47 winners in April.
Twenty-six of the Fantasy 5 winners opted for the quick pick option of having the machine pick their numbers.

The smallest Fantasy 5 jackpot during the month was the $26, 428 ticket sold April 22 at a Publix in Tampa.
How many quick pick tickets won in April lottery drawings?
