Hi all, I posted a similar post back in March, but now that my application is verified and I am about to finalize my school list before 5/28 I wanted to get input on my more refined school list. Thank you everyone for your time and help.

Clinical Experience:

• Volunteered at a hospital in the psychiatric unit: 155 hours
• Volunteer in the Emergency Department: 115 hours (175 more anticipated)

Research experience

• Undergraduate Research lab (1000 hours)
• Current research in NIH lab (2100 by application, 2000 more anticipated)

Research productivity:

• One middle-author publication and one poster presentation from my current NIH research
• As an undergraduate, I presented one poster at a conference, I am the second author on one other poster, and second author on a published abstract

Shadowing experience:

• Internal Medicine, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Cardiology, and Emergency Medicine (85 hours total)
• Radiology (40 hours anticipated)

Non-clinical volunteering:

Thank you for the recommendation I will add West Virginia. I did notice on MSAR West Virginia only accept 33 OOS students with a <1% acceptance rate. Do you think because I am in Maryland which is close by they would consider my application?

I did not attend the fair last year, but I am currently signed up and will attend this year. Thank you for letting me know.

Yes, many of the OOS admitted are from adjoining states.
