We are pleased to offer free library borrowing for our alumni (to borrow books and physical materials), as well as access to a select number of electronic resources for alumni use off-campus.

To take advantage of free library borrowing, please consult the Alumni Services website in order to obtain your Queen's Alumni Card.

You will also need a Net ID to access any library e-resources. If you don't currently have a Net ID, you can create one by signing up for a Queen's email address.Once you have your NetID, you can contact Ask USand we will create a library account for you, or you can go to any information desk at one of our libraries at Queen’s.

Can alumni use the library Temple? ›

Library Access

Temple Alumni may access any Temple Libraries facility except the Law Library during open hours of operation once they have obtained an Alumni card.

Alumni may purchase access to University of Toronto Libraries with one of the following cards. Privileges may vary at individual libraries. See the Alumni library access page for information on what services are currently available to alumni library card holders.

Can Queens alumni use the library? ›

Queen's alumni and local area residents and visitors are also welcome to visit us and make use of select library resources. A list of electronic databases for alumni remote access are also available.

How many libraries does Queens University have? ›

Collections are housed in Stauffer Library, Douglas Library and three major faculty libraries: William R. Lederman Law Library, Bracken Health Sciences Library and the Education Library.

Can UL alumni use the library? ›

UL alumni may apply for a membership card. Free cards are issued for a three year period, the fee-based membership cards are issued for 6 or 12 months, after which members must reapply. Applicants must bring their old UL ID card or proof of graduation plus photo ID.

Do Harvard alumni have access to the library? ›

Harvard alumni are welcome to visit the libraries, but each library has its own requirements surrounding alumni access. Alumni should contact the library they wish to visit beforehand to make sure they fulfill the necessary requirements.

All are welcome to use the UT Libraries' collections by visiting us in person and using material within our buildings during times we're open to the public. Borrowing privileges for guests are limited.

Alumni ID cards are available free of charge from the Registrar's Office at 4 Speare Hall Commons. Check hours and locations for Husky Card Services before planning your visit. NU Alumni Husky ID cards allow you to enter Snell Library.

NYU New York: Alumni may register for in-person access to Bobst Library by completing the Alumni Access to Bobst Library Request form Please note, access must be requested at least 2 businesses days prior to your visit. For more information, email alumni.benefits@nyu.edu.

Can anyone use the Notre Dame library? ›

Everyone is welcome to make on-site use of the Libraries and our collections. Those who do not have a current, formal relationship with Notre Dame or one of our partner libraries may be able to obtain a Special Borrower's Card, which provides limited borrowing privileges for items in the circulating collections.

Limited library privileges are available to alumni. These include: borrowing from our stacks with the exception of access to reserve collections, Maps, and Resource Sharing. a maximum of 15 books checked out at one time.

LMU Alumni may purchase annual borrowing privileges at a discounted rate of $100 per year. Visit the Circulation desk to request an application. Annual borrowing privileges include: 3-week book check-out (up to 10 books) and 3-hour in library media use (one media item at a time).

Can GW alumni use the library? ›

Entrance to GW Libraries is available to alumni who have a physical GWorld card enabled for campus access. Alumni with a GWorld card have to access to the Gelman Library's facilities, services, and resources, including limited borrowing privileges.
