June 4
The pencil lightly pressed against the paper, the large blank space quickly filling as it crossed the page. Green eyes traced the lines the lead was making and judging every imperfection. She had already made smaller sketches, one for each subject and one that posed them all together, but now Izumi had the chance to make it bigger.
For once she was focusing on the future, or more specifically the several events that would be large markers of the school year. She didn’t indulge in the instinct to look towards the tickets she had for I-Island, wanting to focus completely on her work. No, what she was working on was for the School Festival.
Even if they ended up doing a Concert like the first year, or the Butler Cafe of last year she could still do something with this. Of course no matter how talented Mina or Ochako tell her she is, the green haired woman knew she would fail these initial sketches, her plan far too ambitious to be done easily.
As for the subject, today she was working on Ochako’s sketch. Where the woman was still that bright eyed girl from first year, her original costume and helmet looking around in nervous excitement at the people that would be around her.
Of course it wasn’t just that. Izumi also had Ochako in her current costume, one clean and upgraded due to the war. The woman now strong and wiser, having lived through it all, but looking down at what she was holding in her arms with a sweet smile.
Speaking of, Izumi drew cherub cheeks and sparkling eyes, trying to capture as much of the energy she could from that video Ochako sent her from her parents, trying to match the picture now saved to every device she could of her girlfriend as an eight year old little girl looking in awe at her older self, the fully realized hero she would become in her own right.
And of course one more. The older woman Izumi imagined she would become. Her costume changed with a bit of new tech Mei and Melissa had talked to her about, which inspired the whole idea. A bit of internet crawling and some memories of Tenko lead Izumi to the bowls of games and a particular character.
More specifically Izumi hummed as she drew a thirty something year old Ochako, Uravity, in a costume that looked like a cross between her current one, and both PROJECT: & Bullet Angel Kai’Sa. The drone technology and nano working together to create the new suit. The woman staring with the same kindness that brought Himiko out of her own hell.
Izumi paused as she looked down at the large spread, drawing in tiny details in the three foot square paper. “Beautiful.”
Was it narcissistic to think the drawing you made of your loved one was beautiful? Izumi didn't have a clue but she hoped it wasn’t. She hadn’t even started on Mina’s drawings, and she was planning on doing all twenty of her classmates as one giant panorama view.
“...”
“Do I need to make this bigger?”

Mina exhaled loudly as she brought herself back into position, sweat trickling down her curves as the bright light -was not helping!-
Slowly she released the pressure on the machine and finally managed to relax as Ochako passed her the cool water bottle and started to slowly drain the delicious fluid even as her girlfriend unhooked the weights.
“Thanks Ochan… Ugh, my thighs are killing me!” The pink woman winced as she stood, forcing herself to stretch through the pain.
Ochako just smiled that sweet ‘butter wouldn’t melt’ smile and with a tone just as sweet struck her girlfriend where it hurt. “Oh? Maybe we need more time in the gym! Izumi had something to do tonight but we can totally make this a regular date thing!”
Mina column’t help the hot nervous tension that filled her body. Yeah she didn’t mind working out, but her two girlfriends were -workout goddesses- that had the gym as their shrines. Did… Is this her fault? First Eijiro, now Ochako and Izumi…
“Oh my goddess. I have a type.”
The absolutely gorgeous shade of red that Ochako turned was enough for her to realize that one, she did actually say that out loud, and two, saying it out loud was worth it and that she should continue to say things like that and finally three, she was going to now live in the gym because Ochako will never let her escape them now.
That… Also didn’t seem like the worst thing in the world? One thing to know about her was that the Pink woman would take every chance she got to be with her partners no matter what they were doing. Case in point, she came to the gym just to spend time with Ochako. She also joined the whole relationship by helping them have sex and then joining in from there but that was just a side thing.
“Well, on that note. What do you want to do next?” Mina would admit that she might be a bit horny at the moment but she could blame Ochako for that. The many work outs already causing them the flush with exertion and… well you get the idea.
“I-I’m thinkin’ squats?”
‘...Yeah Ochako is just as bad as me. Score!’
